Best Universal Orlando Hotel Pools
Fish Shaped Pool & Pool Area at Endless Summer Surfside
This first Universal Orlando pool to make our list of the top pools is Endless Summer Surfside. This less expensive resort at Universal Orlando still has a really fun pool area.
The Endless Summer Surfside Inn & Suites has a pool in the shape of a fish. There is a beach entry with fountain jets, plenty of lounge chairs, poolside bar, and outdoor family games.
This pool sits on a lake, so you also get an amazing sunset view in the evening hours.
Underwater Sound System & Water Fun at Hard Rock Hotel
Imagine hearing your favorite rock and pop music underwater. The Hard Rock Hotel pool has an underwater sound system. Kids LOVE this! The underwater sound system is one reason why it made it on our best Universal Orlando Hotel pools list.
The other area is the pool area. This huge pool area has tons of lounge chairs. You can also rent a cabana for the day. We never have an issue finding lounge seating at Hard Rock Hotel.
There is sand volleyball, toddler splash area, water jets, and even a water slide. You can also get a tropical drink at the poolside bar or enjoy lunch with live entertainment.
Tropical Pool & Sandbar at Sapphire Falls
We love the tropical resort called Sapphire Falls. You feel like you are in the Caribbean Islands at this resort. The tropical pool is relaxing and fun for the whole family.
The pool is a lagoon shape with a sandbar (shallow area) in the middle of the pool. This pool area has a water slide, fire pit, poolside bar/cafe, and water jet splash area for younger kids.
We love this pool during the day for resort day or in the evening hours for outdoor games and S’mores.
(3) Pools at Portofino Bay Hotel
Portofino Bay Hotel is the most luxurious hotel at Universal Orlando Resort. This hotel has (3) pools called the Beach Pool, Villa Pool, and Hillside Pool.
The Beach Pool is the largest pool and is family friendly. This pool has a beach entry with a sandy bottom. Kids love to play in the sand in this area. There is also a splash park area for younger children, waterslide, hot tub with waterfall, poolside bar, and outdoor cafe for dining. There is also a nearby dry playground.
The Villa Pool is more for adults. This pool is quiet and features lounge chairs, cabanas, hot tub, and even Bocce Ball courts. The other pool called Hillside is another quiet pool. This is also a smaller area with just a few lounge chairs around the smaller pool.
We love this resort, because there is a pool for everyone in your family.
Lazy River & Pool Area at Cabana Bay Beach Resort
We have reached the best pool at Universal Orlando Resort. The best Universal Orlando pool is Cabana Bay Beach Resort. This value+ resort features two pool areas with poolside bar and snack bar.
One pool has a splash park for the kids and a water slide. They also have cabanas for rent for a whole day pool experience.
The other pool area has a sandy beach with lounge chairs, beach entry pool, and a lazy river. There is even a pool shack to rent tubes or they will blow up and deflate your tubes.
In the evening hours, you can roast marshmallows on the fire pit. You can also grab a bite to eat at the pool snack bar or a drink at the outdoor lounge.
If you love pools, you need to spend a day at Volcano Bay Water Park. This is the best waterpark in Orlando and is located at Universal Orlando.
