I came across some shocking information the other day. I was looking for something online and came across a travel website. On the website, they were recommending a hotel. I was shocked at the hotel they were recommending! Right now, the hotel was undergoing some crazy construction. I personally would NEVER recommend this hotel right now or stay there. Yikes!
It made me think about all of the information online that is out of date, incorrect, or just wrong.
That is why travel agents are so important when you travel. They spend 40-50 hours a week focusing on travel. In addition, they spend months every year training and visiting destinations to make sure they are on the top of the travel industry. Do you have that kind of time?
With over 20 years in the travel industry, I consider myself a travel expert. However, I still book with a travel agent. I could go on and on why I book with a travel professional, but I will break it down into three big ones…
Save Time: I do not have hours and hours to sit online researching destinations, deals, go to site visits, or go over reviews. However, travel agents spend full time doing just that. They know all of the destinations, hotels, best rooms, attractions, dining, and more. They do all of the work for you.
Save Money: Travel agents have deals, not always available to the general public. Plus, some travel agents watch for discounts (even after you booked) to save you even more money. OHHHH…did I mention that travel agents are free! Win win win!
Create Memories: It is all about the experience! Travel agents create memories with extra surprises and let’s say it…magic, to make your vacation even more amazing!
