2 Exciting Changes Coming to Pirates of the Caribbean Attraction

 There are 2 exciting changes coming to Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, including a scene change after refurbishment and a new photo opportunity.

On Ride Photo Now Available at Pirates of the Caribbean

A talking skull and crossbones now appears near the exit of the haunted grotto just before your boat drops you into the pirate scene below and your photo is automatically taken. To preview, purchase and download this attraction photo, you must be wearing an active MagicBand linked to your My Disney Experience account.

Your photo will be automatically associated to your account, where it can be viewed at MyDisneyPhotoPass.com and in the My Disney Experience mobile app alongside all of your vacation memories from Disney PhotoPass Service.




Changes Coming to Pirates of the Caribbean in 2018

Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland Paris is debuting with some new changes in July. One of which involves the famous auction scene. Now, the familiar “redhead” character is playing a new role joining the pirates’ ranks and helping the local townspeople “unload” their valuables at the Mercado
auction.

There are 2 exciting changes coming to Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, including a scene change after refurbishment and a new photo opportunity.

In the U.S., this famous redhead will appear in a similar scene at the Magic Kingdom Park and Disneyland park in 2018 following a previously scheduled refurbishment. Here is an artist’s rendering of the new Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort scenes.
