Dine at Be Our Guest Restaurant Before Magic Kingdom Opens

Did you know you can dine at select Disney Theme Park restaurants, before the park even opens? This is one of my favorite insider tips at Disney World.

I recently headed to Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park. The park opened at 9 AM, so I booked my dining reservation at 8:20 AM.

Since my reservation was early, I was able to get into Magic Kingdom Park, before the park even opened. The Cast Members (employees) at Magic Kingdom let us in around 8 AM. I then had about 20 minutes to wander down Main Street USA and around Fantasyland getting pictures, before my dining reservation time.

I got some pics in front of Cinderella Castle, without people behind me. I also got some amazing pictures of an empty park in Fantasyland. It is just so much fun being inside Magic Kingdom, without the crowds.

Be Our Guest Restaurant

For early dining at Magic Kingdom, eating at Be Our Guest is my top pick. I love this restaurant for breakfast.

As you walk into the restaurant, you will be enchanted by the three spectacular rooms, seating up to 550 people. These rooms include the West Wing, Rose Gallery and the Ballroom.

The West Wing glows with the stained glass “enchanted rose” created with mosaic and lights.

The Rose Gallery features larger-than-life characters of Belle and Beast. These characters are twirling around the Rose Gallery.

My favorite room is the popular Ballroom scene from Beauty and the Beast with warm gold colors, twinkling chandeliers, domed ceiling, and a breathtaking scenic mural that transforms you to the middle of France.

I love that Disney imagineers incorporated the smallest details from the Beauty and the Beast movie into this restaurant. Looking outside the windows, you will even see snow falling.

If you love Hidden Mickey’s, be on the watch for roses in the Be Our Guest Restaurant. From the movie, Beauty and the Beast, the “enchanted rose” was the countdown for Beast to meet his true love. If he did not meet this true love before the last rose fell, he would remain a Beast for all time.

This restaurant has roses everywhere from the back of the chairs to the columns and pillars throughout the restaurant. You will get the first glimpse of the roses as you walk into the restaurant with the rose mosaic on the floor.

Be Our Guest Restaurant for breakfast is a counter service meal. You walk into the castle and order your breakfast. Your meal is then delivered to your table. As a bonus, you get a tray of pastries to enjoy with your breakfast.

After your breakfast, be sure you wander around Be Our Guest Restaurant. You don’t want to miss all of the amazing details of this restaurant, including the snow falling in the ballroom or Beast making an appearance in the picture in the West Wing.

I was able to book my breakfast the day before I arrive to Magic Kingdom via the My Disney Experience app on my phone. However, I would recommend booking your Advanced Dining Reservations early. This restaurant is a popular one at Disney World.

Once I finished my breakfast, Magic Kingdom Park opened. I was already in Magic Kingdom, so I could head right to Mine Train (before the line got outrageous). This is just one more perk of dining at Magic Kingdom, before the park opens.

Have you even tried dining at a Disney World restaurant, before the park opens? What was your favorite part of your experience?
