disney dream cruise

Recently, the Jones Family took our “20 something” Disney Cruise.  I stopped counting after 20.  LOL!  We do love cruising with Disney Cruise Line.  One this recent cruise for Disney Social Media Moms Celebration, we were on the Disney Dream.  This is our favorite ship!  You can check out our ranking of the Disney Cruise ships and why we think the Disney Dream cruise is the best!

We know our tribe loves it when we cruise.  We wanted to share all of our cruise videos with you, so you can join us on our Disney Cruiseathon…is that a word?  Enjoy!

Table of Contents

  • Day 1 on Disney Dream Cruise
  • Day 2 Breakfast & Midship Detective Agency
  • Day 2 Pirate Night
  • Day 3 Castaway Cay
  • Day 3 Dinner at Animator’s Palate
  • Day 4 See Ya Real Soon

Day 1 on Disney Dream Cruise

This is always our favorite day.  Driving over the bridge in Port Canaveral to see the largest ship in the port…the Disney Dream.  Once we board, we get lunch at Cabanas and then rush off to the children programming.  The kids are finally old enough for Edge and Vibe.  We signed both kids up and then off to our rooms.

We also had a little extra surprise on this 1st night of the Disney Cruise.  Radio Disney was filming FriYay Live and we all got to be in the studio audience.  Kid was jumping for joy on this adventure!  It was a lot of fun!

Day 2 Breakfast & Midship Detective Agency

Hunter and Mommy have breakfast at Enchanted Garden and then hit the ship searching for “who snagged those 101 Dalmatian puppies” in the Midship Detective Agency.  Hunter loves this activity.  I think we did it 5 different times during our 3 night cruise.

Day 2 Pirate Night

The fun continues on the Disney Dream cruise with Pirate Night!  The kids headed to Pirate League to get pirate makeup, along with some corny pirate jokes.  LOL!  We then meet some fun “pirate characters” and head to our dinner.  Wait until you see our pirate costumes!  We all dressed up!

The night ends with fireworks at sea.  I love the fireworks!

Day 3 Castaway Cay

YAY!  Our favorite port of call on any Disney Cruise ship is Castaway Cay.  This is Disney’s private island in the Bahamas.  It is truly magical!  We started our day at Castaway Cay with a 5K run.  Daddy and Hunter did a great job running this race.

We then grab the snorkeling gear and head out into the snorkeling trail to see fish, a submarine, and even Minnie Mouse!  Can anyone tell me where this submarine came from?  As a past lifeguard Cast Member, I think I recognize it…do you?

The days not over yet…we meet up with Being Mommy with Style and Being Daddy with Style and go for a bike ride throughout Castaway Cay.  It was an amazing day!

Day 3 Dinner at Animator’s Palate

The dining rotation is always incredible on the Disney Cruise ships.  One of our favorite restaurants is Animator’s Palate.  On the Disney Dream cruise, you get to talk with Crush.  Check out this fun show…

Day 4 See Ya Real Soon

This is the day we exit the ship.  This is always a tough day, because we have to get up early and then leave the ship.  I always think this is a good day, because as soon as we get off the ship – we get to go on another adventure.  Yay!
