Ever dreamed of a Disney Halloween Cruise?
One of our favorite themed Disney Cruises is the Halloween on the High Seas. This special event cruise provides a fully-themed Halloween adventure at sea!

Disney Halloween Cruise: Halloween on the High Seas
Sail away on a Disney Halloween Cruise (officially called Halloween on the High Seas) during select dates usually from September 7 through October 27 of any given year. All four Disney Cruise ships (including Disney Dream, Disney Magic, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wonder) feature at least one Halloween on the High Seas cruise.

Halloween on the High Seas Cruise Videos
Here are our videos from our Halloween on the High Seas Cruise. These videos starts on Day 1, when you board the Disney Dream. They continue through all of the Halloween festivities and to the end as we exit the ship. The ultimate Disney Cruise vacation. 😎

Day 4 Leaving the Disney Dream
Halloween on the High Seas Activities
The highlight of the Halloween Disney Cruise is all of the activities and events over the cruise.
Spooky Movies
You can catch a spooky movie on the Funnel Vision. The Funnel Vision is a big screen on the pool deck (right above the pool). Grab an ice cream and enjoy a not-so-scary movie.
Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party
Shiver in delight during a scare-a-bration alive that includes ghoulish games, trick-or-treating, dancing and some favorite Disney Pals bedecked in Halloween attire.

Halloween Decorations
We love all of the decorations throughout the Disney Cruise. One some of the huge ocean windows, you will find pumpkin faces. These make sure cute pictures!

Disney Characters in Costume
Imagine seeing your favorite Disney Characters in their favorite Halloween costumes. Throughout the Halloween on the High Seas Cruise, you will get to meet up with Disney Characters. On select meet and greets, the Disney Characters will be wearing Halloween costumes. It is a really fun opportunity to get pictures with your favs.

Family Pictures
Throughout the cruise, you will have opportunities to get professional pictures with your family with Halloween backdrops. This is a perfect way to capture your Halloween costumes, as a family.
Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing and Scream
One of our favorite Disney Halloween Cruise activities! Enjoy a special sing-a-long version of this classic movie and follow it up with a meet-and-greet with the man himself, Jack Skellington.
Haunted Stories of the Sea
This is one of my favorite parts of the Halloween festivities. You will learn about the Halloween Tree and some ultra spooky stories told by a mysterious sea captain.
“Lighting” of the Halloween Tree
This show is ultra spooky! You will hear the tale of Ichibod Crane. This ghostly storyteller shares this store, before lighting the jack-o-lanterns on the Halloween Tree in the atrium. The coolest tree we’ve ever seen!

We love watching this show from the Deck 4. You get a much better view of the whole show, including the singing Halloween Tree.
Ghoulish Delights
We love all of the special Halloween treats, including chocolate cake with pumpkin filling, spider cakes, and even “Spooky Juice.”

Besides these Halloween activities, there are other Halloween themed activities throughout the cruise. Your kids may find special Halloween activities in the Oceaneer Lab, Oceaneer Club, Vibe, or Edge. Plus, the Halloween activities do not end with the kids. The recreation crew has lots of activities and costume parties for the adults.
Halloween Trick or Treating
The Halloween on the High Seas cruise also features it’s very own opportunity for trick-or-treating.
The whole family gets dressed up for this activity and you wander the ship from candy depot to candy depot. You’ll end up with more candy for the kids than you’d ever get in your own neighborhood. Not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. 🙂
The Disney Halloween Cruise is the perfect way to celebrate Halloween with your family. This is our favorite way to celebrate Halloween! 🎃
The first Disney Halloween Cruise kicks off in a few weeks. You still have time to book a cruise for the Halloween season. Would you like to celebrate Halloween with Mickey Mouse and friends?
