Disney World Snacks are known worldwide for their Mickey shapes, but is there more to the allure of the “Disney snack” than just the mousey silhouette?
YES! So much more! There are so many amazing Disney Dining snacks that we could go on for days about them!
That said, we reached out to our Disney Cast Member (employee) friends to help narrow down the list to just six favorites. Check these out on your next visit to the Disney Parks and let us know what you think.

6 Best Disney World Snacks
Dole Whip Float
Of course, the iconic Dole Whip float has to be at the top of the list! Although there are now some places outside of Disney (and the Dole Plantation in Hawaii) that you can get a Dole Whip, it’s still a snack that most people associate specifically with Disney vacations, which makes it a must-do for each visit.

We recommend the Dole Whip Float, which is Dole Pineapple juice topped with Pineapple Dole Whip (soft serve).
The most famous place to get a Dole Whip or Dole Whip float is Aloha Isle at Magic Kingdom Park, but other places serve it, too, like Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, Tamu Tamu Refreshments at Disney’s Animal Kingdom park, and Marketplace Snacks at Disney Springs. (Note that not all locations listed offer the float. But the Animal Kingdom location does offer a boozy version with coconut rum!)
Candy Apples
If you have ever seen a Disney candy apple, you know they are edible works of art! From classic Mickey and Minnie apples to frightening delicious Snow White poison apples to seasonal adorableness for the various holidays celebrated at Disney, there is always a new apple to try!

Some have white chocolate, others milk or dark and almost all have a layer of caramel beneath the decorative chocolate shell.
Insider Tip: The best thing to do is ask the Cast Member to cut and box the apple for you because unless you are sharing with a few people, there’s no way you are going to finish it! Having it sliced makes it much easier to eat and the box allows you to easily carry it with you.
Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich
There are a few places to find ice cream cookie sandwiches, but the best one of all can be found at Sleepy Hollow at Magic Kingdom. The classic, freshly made chocolate-chip cookies are so good our mouths are watering just thinking about them!
The portion size is large, and you just can’t beat this sweet treat on a hot Florida day! As a runner up in the cookie sandwich department, we want to mention there’s a double chocolate-chip ice cream sandwich at Tamu Tamu Refreshments, too.
Specialty Cupcakes
This is a little bit of a cheat, because there are SO MANY specialty cupcakes at Disney World. Special events, holidays, and even movie releases often result in special cupcakes throughout the parks and resorts.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios tends to have a new specialty cupcake added just about every month. There, you’ll find them at Quick Service locations and Trolley Car Café. The Confectionary and Main Street Bakery at Magic Kingdom, Sunshine Seasons at Epcot and Creature Comforts at Disney’s Animal Kingdom are all great spots to find special and adorable cupcakes.
If you happen to visit Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Contempo Café is also known for exciting new flavors and creations! One of our favorites is the super-hot-right-now Rose Gold Vanilla Cupcake, complete with strawberry filling, vanilla buttercream, strawberry crispy pearls, and a dark chocolate rose gold Minnie hat.
Croque Glacé
L’Artisan des Glaces in the France pavilion of Epcot’s World Showcase is a place that should not be missed! Their menu is small, but mighty with silky smooth ice cream treats including the Croque Glacé.

What is it? This lovely snack is 1 scoop of ice cream with your choice of sauce served in a Homemade Brioche, pressed warm. It’s ice cream heaven on a buttery, warm, fluffy sandwich!
You can also get Macaron ice cream sandwiches or an Ice Cream Martini here, just sayin’.
Just About Anything from Karamell-Kuche
Caramel lovers, this one is for you! It doesn’t get better than in the world of German caramel treats than this little snack and merchandise shop in the Germany pavilion at Epcot.

Here you can find the most flavorful, fresh-popped caramel corn on property as well as ooey-gooey treats like the Caramel S’more, Caramel Clusters with chocolate and pecans, Mickey Krispy Treat’s with Werther’s Caramel, Caramel Filled Chocolate cookie and SO much more!
You pretty much can’t go wrong here, so select whatever caramel-ly treat your heart desires!
Best Disney World Snacks for Photos
We do know that Disney World snacks is more than just eating. Many epic pictures over the years are focused on Disney World snacks. We wanted to share a few more popular choices for not necessarily the taste, but for classic photo opps!
Mickey Pretzel
The Mickey Mouse pretzels come across the country to Disney World, after starting at Disneyland. These are not our favorite tasting Disney Snack. Sometimes they are dry, but when it comes to a fun selfie you cannot beat the Mickey Mouse pretzels.
They are huge, almost as big as your head. With that fun Mickey Mouse face, these are a fun treat to share with the family and get a great pic.
Mickey Mouse Cinnamon Roll
Another classic selfie shot is at Magic Kingdom Park with the Mickey Mouse shaped cinnamon roll. These cinnamon rolls are found at the Main Street Bakery. These sweet breakfast treats are HUGE, almost as big as your face.

We love these pics! You can even grab a Starbucks to go along with your Disney World snack.
However, these cinnamon rolls are a little dry to me. If you want a great Mickey Mouse cinnamon roll, you can take it at home using Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls. Check out this recipe you can make at home with just one ingredient.
Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Bar
This is one of my personal favorite photo opportunities! Our kids got pics (as they grew up) eating that Mickey Mouse chocolate covered ice cream bar at the parks. With chocolate covered faces and vanilla ice cream dripping, it makes for some cute pics.
Keep in mind it gets super hot here in Florida. These ice cream bars melt in just minutes, so get those cameras ready.
Insider Tip: To help prevent a mess on the kiddos, grab a top to a soda with your Mickey Mouse ice cream bar. You can ask a Cast Member (Disney employee) for one. You can put the stick of the Mickey Mouse ice cream bar through the straw hole. Then give it to your children to enjoy. This soda top will help catch some of the chocolate bits and melted ice cream.
Disney World Snacks Honorable Mentions
We do have a few Disney World snacks honorable mentions. These are not the Cast Member favorites, but they are favorite snacks with guests.

- Churros throughout the Disney Parks

- Pongu Pongu at Pandora The World of Avatar
- Turkey Leg throughout the Disney Parks
