Imagine farm to table dining with some special Disney friends! This dining experience is called Garden Grill Restaurant. The Garden Grill is an original restaurant at Epcot, located inside The Land in Future World. This restaurant hosts the Character Dining Experience called Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Harvest Feast. Garden Grill features farm to table dining. Farm to table dining means that some of the foods during your meal come right from the greenhouses in The Land to your table for dinner.
The Garden Grill Restaurant sits on the top floor of The Land at Epcot. The tables at this restaurant are positioned in a huge circle which rotates on a revolving floor. The revolving floor slowly turns around to give your family different scenery from The Land attraction and Living with the Land ride. Kids of all ages love this revolving floor! Don’t worry about getting motion sickness at this restaurant, the Garden Grill restaurant does move very slowly.
Since you will enjoy farm to table dining from the greenhouses in The Land, I always suggest riding the attraction called Living with the Land ride, before dining at Garden Grill. You will learn about the growing of these vegetables and make your meal more exciting knowing where and how they grew the vegetables you are about to eat. This will make your dining experience more exciting and educational.
The Garden Grill Restaurant is served family style, so the food is served at your table in large portions to share. You can order your choice of beverage which includes Coca Cola products, milk, tea, coffee, lemonade, root beer, or specialty drinks. After your drink orders, your server will drop off some piping hot breads with maple butter. Your meal is served in large portions for the family to share, but it is all-you- can-eat, so come hungry.
The family style meal includes salad, beef, chicken, fish, vegetables, rice, and potatoes. The salad is a Harvest-Inspired Farmer’s Salad. The entrees include Char-Grilled Filet of Beef with Red Wine Butter, Sustainable Fish with Sweet Tomato and Fennel Chutney, and Roasted Turkey Breast with Cranberry-Orange Relish. The side dishes include Garden Fresh Vegetables, Smashed Potatoes, Turkey Dressing, and Rice Pilaf. For children, they can request Oven Roasted Chicken Drumstick, Baked Macaroni and Cheese, Broccoli, and Crispy Sweet Potato Sticks for their meal.
You will experience some extra magic during your meal with your favorite Disney Characters including Mickey Mouse, Chip ‘n’ Dale, and Pluto. These Disney Characters are dressed in their country attire including Mickey Mouse in overalls. These characters are subject to change, but usually make an appearance at this Character Dining. You can capture some incredible memories with the Disney Characters as they make their way around the restaurant. The Disney Characters will all stop at your table for autographs and pictures. The Character Dining Experiences are some of the best ways to get pictures with your favorite Disney Characters, without the long waits at the Disney Theme Parks. Have your camera and autograph books ready for your Character Dining Experience.
Be sure you save room for coffee and dessert. The dessert is a sweet and flaky Fruit Crisp with Vanilla Ice Cream. This tasty treat with coffee is a perfect way to end your delicious meal at Garden Grill restaurant, just in time to see the IllumiNations Show! Dinner is served from 4-8 PM daily. An Advanced Dining Reservation is highly suggested for this popular Character Dining Experience. The price is $34.99 per adult plus tip and $16.99 per child (3-9) plus tip. Disney does charge slightly more for special
Holiday seatings throughout the year. This restaurant takes one sit down meal on the Disney Dining Plans. This restaurant does have a new cancellation policy. If you cancel within one day of the reservation or are a no show, Disney will charge a $10 per person cancellation penalty.
