A very merry unbirthday to you!
Disney’s Grand Floridian has a special tea party for your unbirthday! It’s the all new Gone Mad Party and it’s free to attend, every Wednesday night from 8:30PM – 10:30PM at the patio just outside Gasparilla Island Grill.
You can probably figure out from the name that this party has an Alice in Wonderland theme with dessert and drink offerings themed with the movie.
Guests came dressed as their favorite Alice in Wonderland character, but mostly there were a lot of Alices at the event.
You can get some snacks and even dinner from Gasparilla Island Grill and bring it out to the patio to enjoy the dance party and get pictures with crazy cool costumes.
Round out the snack with a little dessert from the Gone Mad Party. But, you’d better get there early! We arrived at about 7:45PM and waiting about 30-45 minutes to put in our orders and the only seats available were concrete walls. None of the cool Alice in Wonderland chairs were to be had.
We had a great time and the desserts and drinks were awesome! A bit pricey, but it’s Disney, so what would you expect? At least the party is FREE!
To cap it off, the event finishes with a great view of Wishes Fireworks at Disney’s Magic Kingdom! It was great! We walked up just minutes before the start of the fireworks show and had a great view!
