One of the biggest questions we hear from Disney World guests is “how to get from Disney World to Wizarding World of Harry Potter?”

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is located at Universal Orlando Resort. This theme park is about 15-30 minutes (based on traffic) from Disney World.

With the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, many guests staying at the Disney Hotels or Orlando area hotels want to spend a day at this amazing destination. Disney does not provide transportation to Universal Studios from the Disney Hotels, so how do you get from Disney to Universal Studios?

Our favorite way to get to Universal Orlando is with a special ticket called Park to Park Tickets with Shuttle Transfers. Let get into some more details about this ticket and why we love it!

Universal Orlando Park to Park Tickets with Shuttle Transfers

FREE Early Park Admission

Before I jump into this ticket, how would you like VIP treatment at Universal Orlando? How would you like to get into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter one hour before the gates open to the general public? Yes and yes!

Every time I get the service called Early Park Admission, I feel like a VIP! When you book your Universal Orlando tickets with our partner at Destinations in Florida, you get this perk for FREE. It is a huge timesaver during your Universal vacation.

Park to Park Tickets with Shuttle Transfers

Let’s jump into one of my favorite recommendations for getting from Disney or Orlando Hotels to Universal Orlando Resort. Destinations in Florida Travel offers a ticket called the 1-Day or 2 Day Park to Park tickets. This ticket includes access to both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure for one or two days. It includes FREE Early Park Admission.

It also includes shuttle transfers from Disney Hotels and Orlando Area Hotels run by the #1 transportation company in Orlando called Mears Transportation.

Here are four reasons why we love this ticket:

  • You save $10 per person with special pre-order discount prices
  • Save time waiting in long lines at the gate to buy your Universal Orlando tickets. This can easily save you up to an hour!
  • FREE Early Park Admission where you get into the park an hour before the gates open to play on your favorite rides
  • With the Park to Park ticket, you get to ride the Hogwarts Express at Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Book Your Tickets

If you are ready to book your tickets to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, call Destinations in Florida at 877-918-8941, message them via Messenger, or email at questions@destinationsinflorida.com.

If you are still planning your trip, be sure save this page. There are only a handful of travel agencies that offer the Free Early Park Admission. You cannot even get that perk with Universal Orlando directly. Make sure you save this page for future reference.

We hope this helps plan your Universal Orlando family vacation. To help plan your family vacation to Universal, check out our playlist of Universal Orlando videos.
