Many people have asked how we went about renting a cabin in the Georgia Mountains, this month.

There are many, many companies that pool groups of cabins into a single database and rent them to visitors, based on availability. We’ve used many of these cabin rental services, over the years.

For our most recent visit to the Georgia mountains, we used Escape to Blue Ridge North Georgia Cabin Rentals. We found Escape to Blue Ridge through some friends that use them to rent out their personal cabin. When we originally started planning this trip, we were hoping to rent our friends’ cabin and that’s what brought us to Escape to Blue Ridge. Unfortunately, their cabin was not available, but we still found an excellent cabin through the site.Georgia Mountain Cabin

If you do a Google search of “cabin rentals North Georgia” or “cabin rentals North Carolina,” you will find LOTS of sites that are very similar to Escape to Blue Ridge. We suggest you stick with sites, similar to Escape to Blue Ridge, that allow you to check availability and book the cabin directly from the site.

Escape to Blue Ridge was extremely helpful and accommodating to our needs. We very easily added an additional night to our stay, after we’d checked into the cabin.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Bent Tree Cabin. The rental rate for our stay was $179/night. We felt this was very reasonable for a family of four in a very large, beautiful mountain cabin.

Just 90 minutes north of Atlanta and a day’s drive from five Southeastern states, Blue Ridge, Georgia is nestled in the Appalachian Mountains. It’s a diverse destination that offers everything from whitewater rafting to the pure relaxation of a rocking chair porch. Historic downtown Blue Ridge is a lively little town where you can come in from hiking to savor a fine dining experience or microbrewery beer and burgers. It’s sophisticated and cultural, with a friendliness that makes everyone feel welcome.

This was our second time renting with Escape to Blue Ridge and both times were excellent experiences. We highly recommend their services, if you’re looking to rent a Georgia mountain cabin. Hopefully, you can find yourself a great outdoor adventure with your family!
