Our final lodging for our Adventures by Disney Southwest Splendors vacation takes us to Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, Utah. Read my review of this resort below.

Red Cliffs Lodge

Red Cliffs Lodge is located just a little outside of downtown Moab on Highway 128. The lodge sits on the Colorado River with beautiful views surrounding the property.

Maintaining classic Western architecture, the lodge features queen and king guest rooms. We enjoyed the queen guest room situated along Castle Creek with a view of the horses.

All rooms at the Lodge include a water view, whether the Colorado River or Castle Creek.

Speaking of Castle Creek, the Castle Creek Winery operates on the resort site and often has $1 wine tastings! A nice, unique option at this resort.

The Lodge also includes a conference center, restaurant, bar, and pool. Certainly do not miss their Moab Film and Western Heritage Museum

Red Cliffs Lodge Review

Of the three resorts visited during our Adventures by Disney vacation, Red Cliffs Lodge topped the list. Spacious rooms that include a kitchenette. Western style decor. Views of 2000′ red cliffs of Moab. A “dude” ranch, on site. Winery, on site. So many reasons for the Jones Family to love Red Cliffs Lodge!

While Enchantment Resort was a beautiful and luxurious resort in Sedona, we enjoyed Red Cliffs Lodge, more.

The distance from Moab is the one issue with the Lodge that I would mention to potential guests. A solid 30-45 minute drive to downtown Moab and corresponding activities eats up a fair amount of your vacation time. Fortunately, most of our activities (rafting the Colorado, ATV tour, and horseback ride) were located at the resort.

The video below adds to the Red Cliffs Lodge review by showing resort scenery, transportation and views from our room.
