We love cruising in our family! We tend to cruise a lot with Tim and the kiddos. One this trip, I headed off on a 3-night Royal Caribbean Cruise to the Bahamas on a girlfriend getaway. I went with my oldest friend, Francine.
We left from Port Canaveral on the newly renovated Majesty of the Seas. Our itinerary included 3 nights with a day in Nassau and a day at CocoKey (which is Royal Caribbean’s private island.) We did have some challenges along the way. I had to make a trip to the ship’s doctor and we have to cruise around a tropical storm. These were some new challenges for repeat cruisers! However, this quick cruise was perfect for a girlfriend getaway.

Day 4 Heading Home
This was my first time on the Majesty of the Seas. I liked this ship for adults. We had such a great time on our girlfriend getaway. I do not think this ship would have been as good for the kiddos. There were a lot of adults and a lot of drinking. I felt like this was more like a party ship. I know the larger Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships are not like this experience. I think it may have been because it was a shorter 3 night cruise. I would definitely keep that in mind for your next cruise vacation. I think for the kids, I still like the 3-night Disney Cruises or a longer 7-night Royal Caribbean Cruises.
