While in Chattanooga we headed out to explore the beautiful Ruby Falls Lookout Mountain area. Ruby Falls features a guided cave tour with a beautiful 145-foot underground waterfall. The waterfall is located over 1120 feet beneath the surface and is the nation’s largest and deepest waterfall open to the public.
Going down! We take the elevator down to begin our tour of Ruby Falls. It was really amazing to see the different rock formations and crystals underground. There is even one that looks like a donkey’s bottom! We also saw formations that look like food, which after trekking through the underground makes you feel hungry! It was an amazing experience down inside Lookout Mountain. I loved the waterfall! It was awesome! After we made it back to the surface we tried our luck at panning for gems. The kids found some pretty cool ones. It was another great adventure for the Jones Family!
Come down underground with us to Ruby Falls at Lookout Mountain in the video!
