One of our favorite ways to celebrate Halloween in Florida is a SeaWorld Halloween. This has been a family event since the kids were young. Our kids are now high schoolers, but they still love to go to the SeaWorld over the Halloween season.

SeaWorld Halloween Spooktacular
As a mom, I love that this event is FREE with our paid admission into SeaWorld Orlando. So many of the Halloween events in Orlando are separate special events with additional costs like Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World and Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando. This Halloween event at SeaWorld Orlando is included with our regular park admission. I love that!

SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular is a daytime event. Your kids can dress up in their favorite costume or just wear a normal dress code. It is completely up to you. You do still have to wear masks or proper face coverings.
What’s New at SeaWorld Halloween
I am thrilled to see some of the returning Halloween activities and a few new ones. Here are a few of the highlights of SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular.
Halloween Maze
Twist and turn your way through our silly Halloween maze that’s tons of fun for younger and older guests alike! Capacity will be limited to promote social distancing.
Trick-or-Treat Trail
Costumed youngsters can trick-or-treat for ghoulish goodies all while maintaining safe physical distancing. Each trick-or-treat station features an assortment of candy favorites. As an additional Safety measure we ask that all guests participating in our Trick or Treat Trail purchase a new reusable bag in order to prevent contact between individuals. You can also bring your own bag. Your kids will love the candy stations from Tootsie Rolls®, Smarties® and Airheads®.

SeaWorld Orlando will probably not have a Halloween Dance Party, but I am sure they will have music playing as you wander the Trick-or-Treat Trail. They usually have fun bubbles flowing, too!
Meet a Mermaid at Mermaid Grotto
During your trick-or-treat trail, you may see an extra surprise. You may see a mermaid!
Face Painting
One of the favorite activities for the younger ones is face painting. You can still get face painting during this Halloween event.

Extra Halloween Fun
Cookie Decorating with Cookie Monster
“C” is for cookie when you join Cookie Monster to decorate his favorite snack! This fun-filled family experience features physically distanced photo opportunities and new measures to keep the cookie decorating safe and fun, including single-party tables with ample spacing and enhanced cleaning procedures.

Count von Count’s Spooktacular Breakfast
What goes great with your morning eggs? How about meeting Count von Count, Elmo, and their Sesame Street friends? Count von Count’s Spooktacular Breakfast combines a delicious meal with exciting (but physically distanced) character appearances. With protective food service barriers, widely spaced single-party tables, sanitization between meals and more, you can “count” on a safe, fun time The Count for the whole family!

Since this SeaWorld Halloween is included with your paid admission into SeaWorld, you can still ride roller coasters, enjoy live shows, and meet your favorite marine animals. It is a fun addition during the Halloween Season.
Video
We know things are a bit different for the SeaWorld Halloween due to coronavirus. Many things are still the same at SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular. You can watch our video from a previous visit to see what this event is like for family fun. Of course, this year you have face masks and social distancing. You still get an idea of the fun!
Safety Precautions
We know things are different due to COVID-19. SeaWorld Orlando is doing an excellent job of keeping everyone safe, while still enjoying family fun. They will have limited capacity, just like many of the other theme parks and destinations in Orlando.

The kids can still dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes and enjoy trick-or-treating around SeaWorld with social distancing in mind. Masks are still required, even with any costumes. SeaWorld Orlando is so huge, there is plenty of space to enjoy the fun and still feel safe.
We are excited about the SeaWorld Halloween event and are already adding it to the calendar for Central Florida fun this year for Halloween. This is a fun event to countdown to Halloween!
