SeaWorld Orlando comes to life in a spooktacular way each Halloween with a special event. This special event is called Spooktacular.
This Halloween celebration is free with your paid admission into SeaWorld. There are so many events in Orlando that are an extra admission, like Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Halloween Horror Nights. It is wonderful to find a Halloween event that is free. Plus, this event is family friendly and perfect for the little ghouls and goblins.
During this event, families are immersed in an underwater “fantasea” including trick-or-treating, whimsical pumpkin fish, sea-themed arts and crafts and up-close animal encounters.

Trick or Treat
SeaWorld offers children the ultimate in safe and exciting trick-or-treat fun. Kids can follow the special Halloween Spooktacular pathways to many different stations throughout the event, each featuring treats galore. With multiple candy stations and a wide array of sweets and treats, kids will be swimming in Halloween goodies.
It may be daytime but your little pumpkin can still wear their favorite costume. Only children 12 and younger are allowed to wear masks. Guests who are ages 13 and older may not wear masks or hoods in the park, and all costumes are subject to the normal dress code for the park. In addition, face painting is not permitted on any guests unless it is done by park artists.
Penelope’s Garden Party
This imaginative “underwater” party comes to life each weekend with a live DJ, a variety of craft opportunities, bubbles floating overhead and colorful sea-themed characters. The party is located on SeaWorld’s Bayside Pathway. We loved the dancing stilt walkers at last years event.
Sesame Street’s Countdown to Halloween
Celebrate a Spooktacular Halloween at SeaWorld with The Count, Elmo, Abby, and the rest of your favorite Sesame Street friends! The Count is feeling lonely this Halloween, and it’s up to you and the loveable monsters from Sesame Street to get him into the Halloween spirit. Batty bats and spooky skeletons join the fun in a song filled stage show that invites you and your family to dance, play and sing along.
Spooky Dance Party
Children will join Princess Penelope and her under-the-sea friends for a Spooky Dance Party where they can participate in line-dancing favorites as clouds of bubbles fill the evening air. The party will kick off at the Village Square in the front of the park every event night one hour before park closing.
Count Von Count’s Spooktacular Breakfast
Count von Count’s Spooktacular Breakfast features a delicious buffet enjoyed with the hottest characters in town, this breakfast is a fun-filled experience sure to delight kids and parents alike. There is an additional cost for this character meal, $19.99 for adults and $9.99 for kids.
The SeaWorld Halloween Spooktacular is a whimsical and fun event, aimed towards kids age 10 and under. The trick or treat paths are very organized and easy to navigate. While the park does open at 9 a.m. the Halloween event doesn’t begin until noon. This will give you plenty of time in the morning to explore SeaWorld and it’s fantastic attractions. Be sure not to miss the Antartica: Empire of the Penguin, it’s a family favorite!
