Sunset Watersports is a great place for family fun water activities in the Florida Keys. We were there to try out snorkeling in Key West. Once the group was assembled we headed out on the boat to the snorkeling area. Hunter was looking for Finding Nemo fish, but not the sharks!
Disclosure: Sunset Watersports provided us with complimentary snorkeling trips for some members of our party.
Back at the boat, Hunter found the perfect spot to relax and try to get a tan. Our snorkeling fun was over, but once we were on the dock, we spotted a manatee! Those guys are so cute.
Then it was time for linner- lunch/dinner. Oh man the food was delicious. On our walk, we spotted a Key Lime Pie store from Sweet Pete’s. I got Key Lime Pie on a stick. Sounds funny but tasted great!
Join us for snorkeling in Key West, see Jimmy Buffet’s recording studio, and a guy with tail all in the video!
Sunset Watersports provides several water sports adventures in Key West at the lowest prices in Key West! Sunset Watersports adventures include sunset dinner cruises, waveruners, boat rentals, reef snorkeling, Key West beach passes, and Key West weddings.
We did the reef snorkel, which includes all the equipment you need for snorkeling, a light breakfast (for morning sails), and free sodas & draft beer. The cost for adults is $40-45 and $22 for kids under 12.
You sail on a new catamaran (was just a couple weeks old when we sailed on it) that has fresh water showers and a nice walk-down ladder into the water. Conditions permitting, you can also jump into the water from the boat deck.
You will need to provide your own sunscreen, swim suit, and towel for your adventure. You may want sunglasses and a hat, as well.
