Our family has traveled the world and now to another galaxy! 💫 Our family recently experience the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser. This immersive experience is located at Disney World in Florida. If you love Star Wars, this is a must do bucket list trip.

What is Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser?

The Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser is a 2-Day experience. Our day started as we drove to a building tucked back stage at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Once we drove up, we saw a small entrance that said Galactic Starcruiser. We arrived!

The experience really began once we walked through the door. We launched in a pod up to the Halcyon starcruiser. Our family cruises a lot. This experience was very similar to a Disney Cruise.

The name of the star liner is Chandrila Star Line (like Disney Cruise Line). The name of the actual ship is Halcyon (like Disney Wish or Disney Magic). Knowing and understanding this part makes a huge difference in your experience.

After we checked in, we were escorted to our cabin (aka room). The room was mind-blowing! We love staying in unique rooms and hotels. This room was incredible! We had a view of the stars and planets. We even had our own robot that we could video call anytime. The kids loved this!

Come along with us on the first day of the Galactic Starcruiser experience.

The next day of the Star Wars experience is HUGE! We arrive to Batuu (aka Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios). Even the transportation to Batuu is incredible. We got to explore Batuu, ride the rides, enjoy a drink at Oga’s, and even complete some missions.

We even had Lightning Lane reservations for both Smugglers Run and Rise of the Resistance, so we never had to wait in any lines. The Disney Cast Members even recognized we were from the Halcyon ship and welcomed us and included us in the story. It was so cool!

On the first day of our experience, we chose which side of the Star Wars story we wanted to be apart of. Tim, Hunter, and I chose the Resistance and Kelly chose the First Order. During our whole experience, we complete missions to support and help either the Resistance or the First Order. Our missions continued on Batuu. This included the rides and even Oga’s Cantina.

Watch our video about Day 2 on board the Galactic Starcruiser, including our day at Batuu.

Our last day on board is very similar to a Disney Cruise. We woke up, got breakfast, and took the transport back home. Okay, so maybe not exactly like a Disney Cruise. LOL! It was still a great experience. There is even a secret merchandise shop at the every end!
