Last week, Orlando reached 94 degrees!  Yikes!  With the hot Florida heat beating down, how do you stay cool in Orlando?  As Florida locals, we have our favorite ways to cool off in Orlando.

#4 Disney Water Parks

There is nothing better than cooling off at a Disney Water Park like Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach. These fun themed water parks have great rides and thrills or you can just relax on the lazy river or wave pool. Spend a day relaxing under the sun at a Disney Water Park.

#3 Ice Bar on International Drive

Imagine chilling in a bar completed made of ice!  That will certainly cool you down.  This bar is also the epic #selfie location where you can get pics with ice drinks on the ice throne!

This bar is called Ice Bar and is located right on International Drive. This bar is all ice from the glasses to the bar stools. When you arrive, you will receive a special jacket (or fur coat for an upgrade) and then head into the bar for some cool drinks.

Kids (8 and older) are even allowed into this club. They have plenty of non-alcoholic drinks for the whole family.

#2 Blue Man Group

Universal Studios host a popular show called the Blue Man Group. This show is a mix of music, comedy, and lots of fun.  It is also in an air-conditioned theater!  Book a seat up close and you will get a poncho and watch out…you may get wet!  The Blue Man Group is a fun show and evening out of the heat to cool down!

#1 SeaWorld

If you are going to hit an Orlando Theme Park, why not hit one with lots of water. SeaWorld Orlando has lots of opportunities to cool down in the fun Florida heat. The kids play area alone is an afternoon of fun for the little ones. You can head over to the animal shows and sit in the “splash zone” where you will get wet. Actually, let’s be honest; you will get soaked!  There are also lots of experiences, where you get to dip your hand in water to touch stingrays, feed seals, or touch dolphins. For a theme park, SeaWorld will cool you down.

How do you stay cool in Orlando?
