Toy Story Land

When you arrive in Toy Story Land, you will feel as though you have shrunk down to the size of a toy in the larger-than-life setting of Andy’s backyard. Surrounded by giant blocks, crayons, board game pieces and more, you’ll have a ton of fun with the Toy Story characters since Andy has set them up in his play area.

Toy Story Land Attractions

There are two new attractions at Toy Story Land at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. They are Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers! If this is your first time at Disney World, be sure you visit Toy Story Land. The imagineering on this land is incredible. Even grown-up’s will feel like kids again!

Slinky Dog Dash

Slinky Dog Dash is a fun, family coaster that Andy has assembled with his very own roller coaster kit. The tracks and supports are in bright colors of red, orange, yellow and blue. They have been put together according to Andy’s hand-drawn plans, with Rex and Jessie lending a hand.

Everyone’s favorite floppy-eared dachshund has been dropped on to the coaster track to carry you on an adventure that bends and twists around curves, hills, bridges and drops. It looks like the track is created with Tinkertoys. You may even pass Wheezy, Mr. Potato Head, and other characters on the ride.

Riders will zip around and above Toy Story Land, with panoramic views of the new land. Slink Dog Dash is fun for the entire family. The height requirement for Slinky is just 38 inches (97cm).

This ride gets long wait times. You can take advantage of the FastPass+ reservations and Extra Magic Hours to avoid the long lines.

Alien Swirling Saucers

Get ready to say “ooooooh” and brace yourself for out-of-this-world fun because the aliens from Pizza Planet have powered up their flying saucers in Toy Story Land! Alien Swirling Saucers is another of Andy’s toy sets that we get to enjoy.

This galactic space toy is designed as a play set that Andy won at the Pizza Planet restaurant. The adorable little Toy Story green Aliens swirl about in their flying saucers with guests in tow in their rocket-ship toys, while “The Claw” hangs overhead. With fun new music and lighting, this is one everyone is sure to love! The height requirement here is just 32 inches (81cm).

Toy Story Mania!

While not new, Toy Story Mania! is now part of Toy Story Land. One of the most beloved attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Toy Story Mania!, gets an all-new colorful toy carnival game box entrance when the new land opens, too.

Recently updated with a third track, this very popular attraction can now put even more guests in the carnival playset action taking aim at 3D objects – using everything from baseballs to cream pies – in a variety of whimsical, fast-paced games. To the high-scorer go bragging rights. Guests of any height can ride this one. Toy Story Mania! can also be found at California Adventure at Disneyland.

Toy Story Land Food

Andy has used his lunch box and thermos to create a walk-up quick-service window that will serve up tasty meals and old-fashioned soda floats. Called Woody’s Lunch Box, you’ll be able to get things like S’mores French Toast and hearty brisket bowls for breakfast and Monte Cristo sandwiches, Roundup Rodeo BBQ, and more for lunch and dinner.

You won’t want to miss the Raspberry and Chocolate-Hazelnut Lunch Box tarts or specialty beverages (including alcoholic options for adults) either!

@Disney

This is a quick service location. Toy Story Land does not have any table-service locations.

Toy Story Land Characters

Inside Toy Story Land, you’ll have the chance to encounter some of your favorite characters. At the character meet and greets, you may meet Sheriff Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie the Yodeling Cowgirl. Woody, Buzz and Jessie will be greeting guests throughout Toy Story Land on a daily basis.

Additionally, guests can also be entertained by the Sarge and the Green Army Man Drum Corps, who will march through the land several times a day. Or stop to play “Sarge Says” or other games with your fellow toy-sized guests.  You can also join in on their interactive boot camp to see if you have what it takes to become an official recruit in Andy’s Backyard.
