You will find music themes including country, jazz, broadway, calypso, and broadway. Disney’s All Star Music Resort is part of the Disney Value Resorts.

Disney’s All-Star Music Resort Overview

Disney’s All-Music Resort is a Disney Value Resort. It is one of five resort hotels in the Value Resort category, along with Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. 

The resort is located in Lake Buena Vista (near Orlando) on the southern portion of the Walt Disney World Resort property near Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Disney’s All-Star Music Resort is a 1,604-room hotel featuring giant icons that pay homage to classic music genres—including Broadway show tunes, calypso, country, jazz, and rock n’ roll. Disney’s All-Star Music Resort was the first Disney Value Resort with family suites.

This resort offers bus service to all four Disney World Theme Parks. These parks include Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. They also provide bus transportation to Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, and Disney Springs.

Disney’s All-Star Music Resort Rooms

Each of the All-Star Resorts has 1,920 rooms. The guest rooms are slightly smaller than the standard rooms at the moderate resorts. The rooms are 260 square feet as opposed to 314 square feet. A standard room has 2 double beds (or one king sized bed), a beverage cooler (refrigerator), small table with 2 chairs, television, nightstand, telephone, dresser, wall mirror, luggage rack, closet area, themed light fixtures (megaphones or stars) and a clock radio.

The bathrooms have a single sink and mirror in a vanity area. There is also a separate tub and commode. A small key-operated wall safe to hold your valuables is located in the closet area. Guests who need to connect to the internet while vacationing can enjoy free wifi.

All-Star Music Resort also has Preferred Rooms. “Preferred Location” at the All Star Music Resort are rooms closest to Melody Hall, the Intermission Food Court, Lobby, and the bus stops. Currently, buildings 1 is Calypso, 2 is Jazz, 9 is Jazz, and 10 is Calypso are in the preferred category. All other rooms are the same no matter what view or location you have.

Check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out is 11 a.m. Guests may check in as early as 8 a.m. and if the room is not ready, store your bags with Luggage Services and head for the theme parks.

Disney’s All Star Resort Dining

You can grab a quick bite to eat at the counter service location called Intermission Food Court. This counter service location reminds me of a food court. You can get breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You can also enjoy seating inside or outside.

Disney’s All Star Resort Recreation

Disney’s All Star Music Resort is a Value Resort. There are fewer resort amenities than other resorts. However, there is still plenty of fun for the whole family.

The Calypso Pool

Shaped like a guitar, this whimsical heated pool is home to a fountain of the Three Caballeros—Donald Duck, José Carioca and Panchito—playfully spraying water at swimmers. For the little ones, a kiddie pool is located nearby.

Piano Pool

The Piano Pool is a grand piano-shaped watering hole featuring a deck of black and white keys, is also available for families looking to play it cool throughout the day.

Children’s Pool

There is a children’s pool perfect for the younger ones. The children’s pool also includes jet water fountain play area.

Note’able Games Arcade

Your whole family will love the game room. You can play some of the most popular videos games, pinball, and air hockey. Tons of fun for the whole family.

Children’s Playground

If your kids need to get a little energy out, you can pop over to the playground.

Disney Recreation

The Disney Recreation team offers activities throughout the day including Mickey Mouse Tie Dye Shirts, Marshmallows at the Fire Pit, and Movies Under the Stars

Since it’s a Value Resort, this resort does not have a gym or fitness center.

Disney’s All-Star Music Resort is located in the Walt Disney World Resort and is considered one of the Disney’s Animal Kingdom Resorts.

Does Disney’s All-Star Music have Laundry Service?

The All-Star Resorts do have laundry facilities. Standard size washers and dryers are available for $2.00 per use, and detergent, bleach, and fabric softener are available for $1.00 per one-use box.

Does Disney’s All-Star Music Resort Have an Airport Shuttle?

No. Disney does not offer an airport shuttle. You can book a paid shuttle service, Lyft/Uber, or take a taxi.
