Universal Orlando Tips

Immigration Tour at Men in Black

This is one of my favorite Universal Orlando tips! The popular ride called Men in Black is located at Universal Studios. This is a great ride for kids of all ages. There is a secret tour at Men in Black that is free. It is called the Immigration Tour.

This tour takes you inside Men in Black headquarters. You will get some amazing pics!

To sign up for this tour is pretty simple. Just ask the team member at the front of the line at Men in Black if you could take the Immigration Tour. If they have enough team members available, they will take you on a tour.

Come along with us on the Men in Black Immigration Tour with the Trackers.

Name a Dinosaur at Discovery Center

At Islands of Adventure, they have an island called Jurassic Park. This island is themed after the popular Jurassic Park movies. This is a fun island for families with Camp Jurassic and the Discovery Center.

One of the hidden tips in Jurassic Park is naming a dinosaur at the Discovery Center. You can go into the Discovery Center and then go down the stairs to the nursery. You will see eggs in the hatchery. Ask a Universal Orlando team member in this area if you can name a dinosaur.

One of the scientists will come out to talk with you. They will check to see if any dinosaurs hatched on the day you visited. If they do have a dinosaur that hatched, they will let you name the dino. You will even get a birth certificate. It is really cute!

What is even better, you can come back and check on your dinosaur during a future visit. They will actually look up your dinosaur (based on your date and dino’s name) and share some fun details about your dino. Your kids will love it!

Artist Signatures at Marvel Super Hero Island

Do you have a Marvel fan in your family? The Marvel Super Hero Island is such a fun area for any Marvel fan. You will ride great rides, see your favorite Marvel Characters, and finds lots of spots to get pictures.

Throughout Marvel Super Hero Island are larger than life pictures of your favorite Marvel characters. Hidden inside these pictures are the autographs of the artists. It is almost a hunt to find all of the signatures within the pictures.

In this picture, you will see the artist’s signature (Max) at the very bottom.

Our kids love searching for the signatures in the Marvel characters.

While you are at Marvel, you may want to hit Spider-Man. This ride made our top list for the 6 Best Rides at Universal Orlando.

Pre-Order Your Tickets

This is one of the easiest tips to help you save time and money! Take 5 minutes and pre-order your Universal Orlando tickets, before you leave home. Once you get to Universal Orlando, you can skip the long ticket lines.

Plus, you can save money on your tickets when you order them online. Our favorite company is called the Official Ticket Center. It is Jones Family Travel approved! 😉 We have worked with this locally owned company for over 10 years. They are amazing!

Future Ride Certificates for Kids Under the Height Requirements

There are a lot of rides at Universal Orlando Resort that have height requirements. If your child really wants to ride a specific ride, head over to the ride. You can double check the height. If your child is not tall enough, ask for a ride return certificate.

They will give your child a personalized certificate to come back to the ride, when they are taller. The child and their family can go right to the front of the line vs waiting in line for the ride.

It is a fun souvenir and front of the line access for your next vacation!

Here is a video when Hunter used her ride certificate for Hulk at Islands of Adventure.

These are just a few of our favorite Universal Orlando tips. Do you have a favorite tip? Leave a comment below and share with others.
